It seems like only yesterday we arrived here in NYC, but we are three weeks into the internship, with one more full week to go. Last week we were in class all day, learning about language acquisition.  Both our mouths and minds got a good stretching out as we learned phonetic drills with sounds we’ve never made before, along with numerous techniques for language learning.  We can’t wait to get to Bogotá and immerse ourselves in Spanish!

Fox has been enjoying hanging out with the other babies in the nursery while we’re in class.  He’s a major fan of our friends Tabby, Cassie, and Ellie – fellow MK’s who are headed to Belize.

Last Saturday, we took the subway to Central Park and walked back.  It was a great way to relax on our day off.
