The protests all over Bogotá that gridlocked the city today made me a little worried that I wouldn’t make it to the airport on time. But thanks to driving “skills” of my cabbie, here I sit in El Dorado ready to depart Bogotá (Free Wi-Fi whoop whoop!). It’s hard to believe the time here with Christ Community Church is already over. The Lord blessed this week in more ways than I can describe, so I’ll just show you a few photos:
- Sharing music with my new friends Natalia and Cristian. Cristian is a huge Packers fan and is headed to the States to study this summer.

Fruitful = having in-depth conversations about the gospel with some folks at the park (...and playing bluegrass)

Ironically, I got pooped on an hour after I had these guys eating out of my hand in Plaza Simón Bolívar

Looking forward to seeing some of these folks back in the States and the others in Colombia when we move here in the fall. What a joy to work together!
The folks at the gate are starting to look for me, so I’d better hit the air. Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement!. Now off to see my sweet wife and Fox!
