It’s official! Today the Western Carolina Presbytery approved Andrew to be ordained as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America. What a testimony to God’s faithfulness and a relief for Andrew, who has studied hard during this process. Thank you for all the prayers and encouragement. This is a big step on our way to serving the church in Bogotá and Latin America.
Technically, Andrew’s ordination isn’t official until the service in which he swears ordination vows. You’re invited, so mark your calendars for March 18th at 5pm at Hazelwood Presbyterian Church in Waynesville, NC.
Andrew heads to Colombia on Tuesday with a short term missions team from Christ Community Church in Chapel Hill. Please pray for him and check in for updates from Bogotá over the next two weeks!
